My Husband cooks a mean Pot Roast.  Surprisingly it doesn't have much in it, special ingredient wise, just 'real' food.  Thought I would share it.

1 grass fed boneless chuck roast
10 organic fresh carrots
8 or more medium sized organic red potatoes
32 oz of organic gluten free beef broth

Warm your Le Creuset dutch oven on the stove.  Season the roast with salt, pepper, garlic power, and a dash of onion powder.  When the dutch oven is warm place the roast in and sear it on all sides.  Take the roast out and pour a little bit of broth to the dutch oven to scrap the seasoning off.  Place a thin layer of potatoes and carrots in and the put the roast on top.  Fill the sides with more potatoes and carrots and pour in the remaining broth.  Place the lid on and put it in a 325 degree oven for about 4 hours.  Enjoy!

One of our household favorites is Shepherds Pie.. Great comfort food and of course we use all organic products.  Just thought I would share.... Enjoy!

Shepherds Pie

1 lb grass fed organic hamburger meat
1 bag of frozen organic mixed veggies
1 box of organic gluten free beef gravy
2 cups of mashed organic red potatoes with skins
4 oz organic cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheese

Heat oven to 375
Cook hamburger meat
Cut potatoes and boil until tender
Cook the veggies on stovetop per directions

In a 8X8 casserole dish add the hamburger meat, veggies, gravy and stir.  In a separate bowl add the 2 cups mashed potatoes, cream cheese and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and mix well.  Add the potato mixture on top of the meat mixture and top with remaining shredded cheese.

Cook for 25 mins.  Yummy!!

For Carter we put his meat mixture in a separate small pyrex bowl and top with mashed potatoes and salt with no cheese.
